Arabic language didactics and comparative didactics

The missions of this division are part of the core mission of the center which is the implementation of research projects in the field of language teaching / learning (didactic of Arabic mainly) and comparative didactics (Arabic, French and English) at all levels of Algerian educational system; i.e. from the primary school to the university.

The division is made up of different research teams, consisting mainly of different grades, working as permanent researchers, and a number of associate researchers.

Maximizing the performance of language didactics by implementing research projects focusing not only on theories and methods of language didactics, but also on teacher training.

Improvement the methods exploiting teaching/learning theories as well as new teaching techniques that integrate communication technologies.

Development of interactive multimedia methods based on the exploitation of software applications.

Implementation of analytical and evaluative studies on teaching Arabic at all levels: from preschool to secondary school, in terms of teaching methods and teaching materials (textbooks, curriculum and teaching tools).

Implementation of analytical and evaluative studies on teaching contents and learning evaluation methods at all levels according to the linguistic and didactic approaches adopted in the Algerian educational system.
