A descriptive study on a sample of students in the 04th grade of the primary school https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/725
This study aims to show the relationship between morphological awareness and fast recognition of the written word in Arabic. For this, we have based on the finding results of studies that addressed the different linguistic systems (Arabic and Western) and that showed the role of morphological awareness, with its derivational and inflectional aspects, in the acquisition of reading and recognition of the written word. This recognition involves accuracy and speed. In this regard, this study shows the relation between the morphological awareness, with its two dimensions mentioned above, and the dimension of speed, due to the lack of studies in this area and the extensive focus on the phonological side, despite that the morpheme is the smallest significant unit. To do this, we have applied the test of morphological awareness and Knowledge Test. In addition, we have used the Reading Per Minute Test to measure reading speed. After analyzing the results and calculating Pearson's correlation coefficients, the conclusions showed a statistically significant relationship between the study variables.
Ratiba Khourta Saliha Guellab Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 8 20 Influential action in the dialogue situations contained in the novel "The Exorcist" by William Peter Blatty https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/705
The present research aims to identify the manifestations of speech and action verbs, explore their nature, characteristics, and images in the dialogues found in the events of the novel ''The Exorcist'' by William Peter Blatty, which is one of the most famous horror novels in the world. To ensure coverage of these events, two dialogue texts from each chapter of the novel were analyzed, based on an analytical and descriptive comparison. The key research findings are as follows: The level of influence by a speech action verb is directly proportional to the sign of strength in the speech act; the influence of action verbs is evident through the recipient’s reactions which came in the form of emotional, psychological, or behavioral expressions; other types of speech act verbs were utilized to achieve this goal. It is hoped that this research will contribute to providing approaches between the signs of strength in an influential speech act, and the elements of success in influencing the recipient.
Mohamed Aljamoodi Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 21 32 Pathological corpus analysis of a patient with oral Specific Language Impairment (SLI) https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/707
In this article, we analyzed a pathological corpus of a case suffering from Specific Language Impairment (SLI) (formerly called dysphasia), to know its ability to use language for communication purposes, after differential diagnosis and application of language test (Chevrie-Muller), which showed that the case at a language level corresponding to a child age 5.

Following a referential dialogue, we collected and analyzed the corpus that it produced in different levels of language: phonetic, phonological, lexical and semantic, syntactic and grammatical, discursive and pragmatic. To achieve the study's objectives, the researcher used the analytical descriptive curriculum by applying the electronic questionnaire to a random sample of 64 non-Arabic-speaking students at Arabic-language learning centers in the Algerian capital. The results of the study revealed that the overall level of proficiency in listening in Arabic for non-speaking students was moderate. The results also showed that the level of motivation in its various dimensions (sedentary, integrative motivation) for learning Arabic for non-speaking students in the Arabic language learning centers in the Algerian capital was high. The results also indicated the impact of listening on the mediocrity of learning Arabic for non-speakers, and the impact of listening on the integral motivation of learning Arabic for non-speakers. The study recommended that students should be encouraged to develop their language abilities by practicing Arabic in daily life and seeking opportunities to actively listen and communicate with Arabic speakers.
Zineb Bouriah Mohamed Hathout Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 46 60 Illocutionary dimension of interrogation in the holy Quran: an analysis through Abu al-Saoud's exegesis https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/709
This research explores a pivotal aspect of speech acts, specifically the interrogative mode, which constitutes a significant requestive act in Arabic rhetoric. It aligns with directive speech acts within the scope of pragmatics, transitioning from mere informative expression to an illocutionary act that engenders an illocutionary force contingent upon the context. Its importance in dialogue, argumentation, and the potential to influence the recipient is profound. Additionally, this study endeavors to create a synthesis between the rich linguistic heritage of ancient Arabic and the theoretical frameworks of contemporary Western linguistics.

The primary objective of this research is to uncover the illocutionary dimension embedded in the interrogatives of the Holy Quran, as interpreted by Abu al-Saoud in his work "Irshad al-Aql al-Salim ila Mazaya al-Kitab al-Hakim" (The Guidance of the Sound Mind to the Virtues of the Holy Book). This exegesis, rich in rhetorical applications, pays close attention to communicative intents and purposes, highlighting the pragmatic practices within. The investigation reveals the intrinsic illocutionary force necessitated by the use of interrogatives and delves into Abu al-Saoud's approach to pragmatic exegesis.
Khalifa Aissat Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 61 71 Using the Mind Mapping Strategy In Simplifying Grammatical Rules for the Third Year of Secondary Education -Literature and Philosophy Branch as Model- https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/710
The methods and strategies of teaching have multiplied and diversified, aiming to assist learners in transforming written content into frameworks that enhance their understanding and simplify the material they receive. The mind mapping strategy is considered one of the innovations that seeks to increase the ability to recall, organize, arrange, simplify, and comprehend information among learners across various subjects and educational stages.

Accordingly, this research paper aims to reveal the significance of relying on the mind mapping strategy in simplifying grammar rules for third-year secondary education learners. Given the difficulty and complexity associated with Arabic grammar, several attempts have emerged to reduce these challenges, either by condensing grammar books or by innovating programs and developing new strategies and methods that facilitate the teaching of Arabic grammar and solidify it in the minds of learners.

The research concluded with a set of findings, the most important of which is that the mind mapping strategy is one of the most significant modern strategies that has a positive and effective impact on simplifying grammar rules and making them easier to convey to third-year secondary learners through succinctness and reliance on branching. Its application in teaching grammar also aids in quickly and accurately reviewing previously learned information on the subject.
Samia Kacem Samir Mazouzen Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 72 84 Contextual presumption and the formation of meanings between acuity and lukewarmness https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/711
Relying on absurdity to approach an eloquent Arabic text – whatever its source – is in itself a form of absurdity. Indeed, all Arabic texts of the Quran, the Hadith or those emanating from an ideal speaker who has never uttered such words, outside the framework of linguistic protest, are texts that have meanings, whether we are aware of them or not, of the recipient having presumptions that allow him to reveal what is hidden in a text read. The contextual presumption is one of the most important presumptions because it is not possible to strip a discourse of its status. If we did that, we would return to the absurdity mentioned in this article. When the presumption of status took first place in the reading process, it seemed important to us to choose it for this research. This is all the more important because speech cannot be understood away from its context or the environment in which it comes.

The approach adopted in this study is a mixture between the descriptive, which examines the phenomenon and defines its elements, and the inductive, which looks at this phenomenon in the middle of the texts, gathering its effects on it.
Abdeldjalil Mansouri Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 85 98 Readability: A study on its levels, success factors, and measurement tools https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/712
This research paper aims to shed light on the importance of readability. I first presented some definitions of the concept of readability, for which there is hardly an agreement on a unified definition. Then I moved on to talk about the importance of readability, which is relied upon to solve various educational problems facing learners. I also mentioned levels of readability and methods for measuring its percentage, which have developed over the years, and finally touched on the Mention some factors associated with readability success.

Among the most prominent results reached are: Readability solves several educational problems, such as reading weakness and other things that hinder the learners’ path. It also depends on preparing school books according to the learners’ abilities to ensure that they understand what they read. The readability of textbooks must also be measured before they are approved by specialists in education sector, in order to ensure that these texts are appropriate for the ability of learners at various educational levels.
Houaria El hadj Ali Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 99 109 Orientation of irregular Qur’anic readings and protesting them through poetic evidence in the book “Al-Jami’ li-Ahkam Al-Qur’an” of Al-Qurtubi https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/715
In this research, I have addressed the grammatical guidance of Al-Qurtubi of the Qur’anic readings in his book “Al-Jami’ li-Ahkam Al-Qur’an”. I have discussed some grammatical issues contrary to grammatical measures in the irregular readings caused by the incomplete induction on which the grammatical laws were regulated, by tracking some of Arabic words not being adapted in dealing with Quranic readings, especially those that do not fit their grammatical rules, while we find from the poetic evidence what corresponds to the Qur’anic readings, especially the irregular ones. This is why I was encouraged in this research and through this interpretation to see the influence of poetic testimony to prove the validity of grammatical structures in irregular readings, since it is Arabic poetry that Arabism has been highlighted.
Kamel Sebaa Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 110 121 The mechanisms of linguistic argumentation in the poem "Kawkab al-Noor" by the poet Hassan Dawas https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/716
This study aims to reveal the mechanisms of linguistic argumentation based on :

- The theory of argumentative ladders: in order to demonstrate the influential and persuasive power in the poetic poem, and to highlight the role of argumentative ladders in confirming meaning and clarifying intentions in poetic discourse. The dataset includes both clean and multi-condition modes, encompassing four noise scenarios : subway, babble, car, and exhibition hall, each evaluated at different signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs), and clean condition, and the results are compared with those from the ASC-10 dataset and the ESC-10 dataset. The problem addressed is the need for robust ASR models that perform well in both clean and noisy environments. The aim of utilizing the CNN-LSTM architecture is to enhance the recognition performance by combining the strengths of CNNs and LSTMs, rather than relying on either CNNs or LSTMs alone. Experimental results demonstrate that the combined CNN-LSTM model achieves superior classification performance, in clean environments on the Aurora2 dataset, attaining an accuracy of 97.96%, surpassing the individual CNN and LSTM models, which achieved 97.21% and 96.06%, respectively. In noisy conditions, the hybrid model also outperforms the standalone models, with an accuracy of 90.72%, compared to 90.12% for CNN and 86.12% for LSTM. These findings indicate that the CNN-LSTM model is more effective in handling various noise conditions and improving overall ASR accuracy.
Noussaiba Djeffal Djamel Addou Hamza Kheddar Sid Ahmed Selouani Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 5 26 Dysarthria Severity detection Using Recurrent and Convolutional Neural Networks https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/736
The diagnosis and monitoring of dysarthria, a speech disorder caused by neuro-motor problems that affect articulation, depend on a precise evaluation of its severity. When creating automated systems to identify and categorize dysarthric speech, accurate severity classification is essential. Using neural network models, specifically recurrent neural networks (RNN) and convolutional neural networks (CNN), this paper offers a thorough investigation of how to distinguish dysarthric voices among a collection of normal voice samples and categorize the severity of dysarthria. Among the features used in the study are voice quality, prosodic parameters, formants, Mel frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC), and spectrograms. Comparing the ability of convolutional networks and reccurents to identify abnormalities in normal data, as well as the hybrid model that combines convolutional and reccurent neural networks (CRNN), is our goal. The study utilized Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), Support Vector Machines (SVM), and Long Short-Term Memory networks (LSTM) to evaluate three distinct scenarios: identifying languages from natural speech, synthetic speech, and a mix of both. Furthermore, the study investigated whether integrating all feature types could enhance system performance. The results revealed that the Mel spectrogram consistently emerged as the most effective feature across all tested models, with MLP and LSTM achieving the best overall results. In fact, the Mel spectrogram attained a remarkable accuracy rate of 100%, establishing itself as the top-performing feature. Similarly, MFCC also reached 100% accuracy in the synthetic speech scenario, highlighting its strength as the second most effective feature. Notably, combining all features did not always lead to performance improvements, underscoring the importance of strategic feature selection. The study also tackled challenges like variability in natural speech recordings and imbalances in dataset distribution, emphasizing the necessity of robust data augmentation methods. By shedding light on the interactions between feature types, model architectures, and speech data sources, this research advances the development of more accurate and resilient spoken language identification systems.
Khaled lounnas Abderrahmane Gamgani Imad Feth-Ennour Aliane Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 53 72 The Role of Classroom Behavior Modification Techniques in Reducing Classroom Behavioral Problems in Schools https://crstdla.dz/ojs/index.php/allj/article/view/735
This study aims to address one of the most pressing issues in the educational environment: the management of unacceptable behaviors among school students within the classroom. The absence of teeth alters the articulation of phonemes, intraoral resonance and the tonicity of oral structures (lips, tongue, and cheeks). Our objective is to focus on the importance of phonation in the design and adaptation of dental prostheses in the totally edentulous patient, highlighting the techniques and principles to be followed to optimize results. The design of prostheses is based on the fitting stage, the prosthetic joint and, above all, the choice of the vertical dimension of occlusion (DVO) and the positioning of prosthetic teeth according to lingual, labial and dental sounds, as well as phonetic verification in the mouth during trials. Patient-practitioner collaboration, particularly through sound repetition exercises, is essential for adjusting prostheses. Phonation is therefore an indirect indicator of prosthetic success, as it reflects the balance between aesthetics, comfort and function. A careless approach can lead to prosthetic rejection and patient dissatisfaction. This makes phonation a fundamental parameter in the success of complete dentures.
Nadia Boudelaa Souraya Dendouga Samia Dribel Chafika Zeriati Copyright (c) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 30 2 90 101
