Presentation:
This research aims at the elaboration of dictionary of translation studies in three languages Arabic, French and English. The idea comes after being confronted to a problematic linked to Arabic terms disorder and multiple use of the same term.
Accordingly, to that we considered it necessary to collect, compile, standardize these terms in a dictionary which will serve as a reference for specialists, professors and students of translation. In the end a paper and electronic version will be issued.
Project goals:
- This dictionary will provide specialized and adequate Arabic translation studies terms
- Elaboration of the first specialized dictionary in translation studies with entries in Arabic
- The dictionary contains a large numbers of terms which will be adapted to Standard Arabic language used in Academic research.
