Abstract

This research deals with the interpretation of the two verses of retribution: (178, 179) from Surat Al-Baqarah in an analytical interpretation, showing the relationship of the two noble verses to the general purpose of the noble Surah, and to the verses that preceded them, explaining their meanings, and the scholars’ differences regarding them, weighing what is between them with evidence, and trying to deduce the secrets in them. Statements and educational guidance that have a great impact on the stability and progress of Islamic society, and the legislative miracle they contain, and the provisions they contain. doctrinal and behavioral, explaining the ambiguities in their meaning, Verifying the statement that the claim of abrogation in the first verse is incorrect, the researcher followed three scientific approaches, namely: the analytical approach, the inductive approach, and the critical approach, concluding that the Qur’an combined idealism and realism, and that Sharia worked to protect souls from being assaulted, so life in Islam remained a safe and reassuring life.
