The experience of Iqra’a Crèche, Kano - Nigeria in the linguistic composition of kids.. Arabic language as a case study
Abstract
Iqra’a Crèche located in the city of Kano in northwestern Nigeria, is considered one of the most important private schools in Nigeria that has paid great attention to teaching the Arabic language along with English studies, and has developed an integrated curriculum for the linguistic formation of children from the first day of their enrollment in school until their last days in primary school. This study aims to inform the rest of the world about the experience of the Iqra’a Creche, Kano - Nigeria in the linguistic formation of children, and to highlight the scientific and artistic value of its curricula, which were distinguished by keeping pace with the stages of children’s development. This study followed the descriptive and analytical approach in which the most prominent research questions were answered: (When was Iqra’a Crèche established? Where was it founded?
