Abstract
There is no doubt that the explosion of knowledge, information acceleration, and successive technological changes in all fields have constituted a major challenge that has imposed itself severely on educators and linguists, to find modern methods and methods in order to advance qualitative learning to ensure the quality of educational outcomes. Many contemporary studies have focused their efforts on researching modern strategies that seek to create active interactive learning environments, including those based on cognitive and brain learning, to improve the learner’s learning skills and provide him with a rich vocabulary that he can use in significant situations. Among these strategies is the strategy of mental and conceptual maps as a visual intellectual tool that effectively contributes to activating the brain and improving mastery of Arabic vocabulary. All of this is done according to multiple mental processes, which contributes to organizing information in the form of a comprehensive and concise plan in harmony with mental preparations of the learner. Therefore, through this research paper, we are trying to find effective ways to activate mental and conceptual maps to develop the linguistic balance of the schooled child.
