The Impact of the Underlying Principles of Linguistics on the Teaching of the Arabic Language – The Primary Education Stage as a Model
Abstract
This research paper aims to discuss the extent to which linguistic theoretical foundations are relied upon in the teaching of the Arabic language, both in terms of designing the curriculum for the primary education stage and in preparing teaching aids and instructional methods specific to this core subject, which serves as both a learning tool and an educational goal in itself. Through this study, we also seek to present the global structural audio-visual method for teaching and learning Arabic, as one of the most significant approaches that has contributed to the development of Arabic language pedagogy.
