Main Article Content
Abstract
In this article, the author addresses the genres and techniques of translation throughout history since it was only a limited movement aus (Dawawin el Hukam); to transform itself at the time of al-Ma'mun and the Beit el Hikma into a cultural act transmitted by heritage, and to finally arrive at the contemporary era with the appearance of the computer and what we agreed to call automatic translation which should not require human intervention, however, this ambition always comes up against the inability of the computer to carry out a translation which would respect the meaning intended by the author of the text and this even with artificial intelligence techniques.
