Abstract

This paper is about the new approach adopted for the teaching / learning of the arabic language to the students of the first year of the college ; namely the competency based approach.This approach is presented through  four teaching aids: the new program of arabic language , the guide of the teacher, the enclosed document of the program, and the textbook. We end the paper by presenting some propositions concerning the various discussed points.
